OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Dr. Pedro López Mateu for his appointment as head of the Medical Department. Dr. Mateu is a specialist in Sports Medicine and Sports-related Traumatology, amongst other areas of expertise, and has over 20 years of experience in the field.

With this incorporation, Valencia CF strengthen the structure of our medical department, in charge of the wellbeing of all of our players from the VCF Academy through to the first team. The club are committed to increasing the available resources for optimal, individualised medical attention that improves the lives of our players.
